We realise this can be polarising but hear us out! Creating shape is really important to us. Shape that comes without underwire. Our cups provide shape without bulk. They are so subtle you probably won’t realise they’re there. But what you will notice is that these cups won’t go rogue floating under your arm pit, or go missing in the wash. Sewing our cups in was a calculated decision to avoid mono-boob and the endless fishing required to reposition a misplaced cup. You’ll thank us, we promise.

Absolutely not! We recognised a huge gap in the market for pregnancy and post-partum underwear that, to be frank, wasn’t beige in every sense of the word. We wanted underwear that could provide the ability to stretch and grow with you as your body changes in pregnancy and post birth, but that could also provide you with a bit of lux and style during a time of so many changes, both physical and emotional. 

This bra is first and foremost a bra for mothers. It caters for those who breastfeed, those who formula feed, those who choose to hand express colostrum, those who pump, those who use donor milk and those who do a bit of all of the above, whether by choice or not. We know in pregnancy, you won’t have always figured out which feeding journey you will take, so we wanted all options catered for. We also know (firsthand) that women are terrible at treating themselves to new underwear and are likely to wear their maternity underwear long after they have birthed their children. So we wanted something that was built for mum life beyond the haze that is pregnancy and newborn days.

Yes! Honestly it’s time to #throwunderwireinthebin. Unless you’re channelling your inner Bridgerton, underwire is done. Our bra’s support is focused on a 2cm under band. The elastic used here is what gives the bra its structural integrity and gave us the licence to use our buttery soft fabric over the bits that matter, your nips! It also means the support isn’t concentrated in the straps, meaning we can offer straps the size of your regular bras, allowing you to wear the clothes you always have. On top of this, our bra comes with a butterfly clip which gives the option for additional support if you manage to sneak in that brisk walk or a quick pilates session. Overall the bra provides medium support which we think strikes the perfect balance for day and night wear.

A bra fitting is just a point in time indicator of your breast size. The reality is we all know our breast size fluctuates depending on so many different factors including our weight and time of the month. Never is this more evident than during pregnancy and the post-partum period where your breast size changes daily, sometimes hourly. Designed with a 4 way stretch fabrication, the NipCo fit allows for stretch and growth in the bra to accommodate these fluctuations. And without an underwire, there’s no need to be “fitted” as the best fit is simply the fit that feels right for you.
